Restaurant Manager with strong casual dining experience needed for the Pittsburgh area.
Job
Summary:
Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the workers and resources of the restaurant for the efficient, well-prepared, and profitable service of food and beverages.
Tasks and Duties:
Work with other management personnel to plan marketing, advertising, and any special restaurant functions.
Direct hiring, training, and scheduling of food service personnel.
Resolve complaints concerning food quality and service.
Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
Comply with all health and safety regulations. Review and monitor, with bookkeeper or other financial personnel, expenditures.
Work to improve performance.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years plus restaurant FOH & BOH management experience, preferably with a large chain that operates multiple locations.
Good organizational skills for dealing with diverse duties and staff.
Pleasant, polite manner for dealing with public as well as staff.
Must be able to work some evenings and weekends.
Position is full time with a salary of $38,000 to $50,000. Depending on GM experience. Plus monthly bonus and excellent benefits package, training and growth.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
