Licensed Vocational Nurse - LVN

Details:
Job Location: Monroeville
Hours: M-F daylight PT. Approx 8a-9a. Nurse will be guaranteed 3 hours per school day.
Description:
We have a part-time Monday through Friday daylight positions located in the Monroeville area. Your responsibility would be to monitor the child's medical condition throughout the child's bus trip to school. You would be guaranteed 3 hours per school day. This position is perfect for nurses who are taking college classes or have limited availability during the week, recent grads looking to pick up some extra hours, or a nurse looking to get back into the field.

Responsibilities include:
o Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
o Performs focused interview to identify specific patients needs.
o Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
o Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Qualifications include:
o Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License.
o Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
o Current Health Certificate (per facility).
o Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
o One year prior professional nursing experience Preferred.
o Current BLS card.
o Successful completion of the screening tests
